Glenn Justis

Summerville, SC

Born and raised in New Jersey, attended public school and was very active in the Boy Scouts as a youth, earning the highest rank of Eagle Scout in 1984.  Attended and graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 1990 with a BS degree in Business Administration.  Worked for 14 years in the textile industry before returning back to school and earning a law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2007.  After interning with the 1st Circuit Solicitor's Office for three years while in law school, I accepted a position as an Assistant Solicitor where I prosecuted criminal cases in Orangeburg and Dorchester Counties.  After prosecuting 11 years and handling over 5,000 criminal cases including of 40 criminal jury trials, I left the Solicitor's Office and embarked on a 5 month, 2,200 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.  Upon returning I opened The Justis Law Firm, LLC. and began representing those individuals who find themselves stuck in the criminal justice system.  In my free time I like to hike and camp with Boy Scout Troop 2 where I am the Scoutmaster.  I have been married for over 27 years and together we live in Summerville with our teenage son and German Shepherd named Gunner.
